In the 1590’s, Molly Shipton lived happily with her family in a village called Bidford-upon-Avon. However, when the plague kills both of her parents and most of the village, Molly and her little sister Juliet are left on their own. Her brother, Ben Shipton, has disappeared and is assumed to be dead, but Molly hopes deep down that he is still alive. Molly and Juliet realize that because they are girls they won’t be able to survive on their own, so they dress up as boys and play the lute (a musical instrument) on the streets in order to make money to survive.
SOS is a thrilling, fictional adventure book that features two main characters, Brandon and his little sister Amy. The novel begins with the two siblings on a cruise ship during a storm. Amy is trying to wake Brandon up because she is anxious. All of a sudden the carpet is soaked and they are struggling to get to a lifeboat. Once in the lifeboat, they watch while the mighty waves drag the vessel down into the depths of the ocean. Brandon and Amy are then separated from their family and are forced to survive in the lifeboat.
Light in the Abyss is a Science Fiction novel that introduces the reader into the lives of two Naval Officers: Executive Officer Liam Blackwood and Petty Officer Amelia Virtue. The book begins with Liam and Amelia, along with their crew on the HMSS Daring. The crew was sent by his Imperial Majesty to retrieve a very substantial artifact to the Nobles, the suncatcher. This artifact was stolen by a very well known theropod thief, Shordar.
