Could you find joy in the middle of a loud and wet thunderstorm? Joy is exactly what Spiker the jumping spider and his friend Crispin the cricket set out to find. Luckily, each has different talents that help them weather the storm. But the adventure does not end there. The following day and the day after, Spiker and Crispin learn more ways to share joy with new friends.

Opinion:

Mission possible! J. M. Ashmore has artfully created a story that gladdens the heart and celebrates friendship, adventure, and positive thinking. The characters are charming, and the plot is delightful. This upbeat book entertains and with bonus fun facts, teaches a few things about spiders and crickets. The book’s back matter also includes Story Questions and Answers, and a relevant Bible verse. The uncomplicated illustrations express and reflect the emotions of the characters beautifully. Fans of heartwarming tales do not miss Spiker the Jumping Spider Learns About Joy! Get ready to smile!
