This book is about a girl named La Petite Josette, her sister Anne-Laure, her Mom, and her Dad. The family goes on a trip to Les Baux-de-Provence, which is a small village with many fabulous things to see. Josette is eager to explore the chateau and the many gift shops the village has to offer. Come with Josette as she explores this ancient village!

Opinion:

I liked this book, especially the hand-drawn illustrations. The book was fun and an excellent way to teach kids French. A glossary at the back would have been helpful for the reader to have pronunciations of all the French words in one location. I also would have loved to see more added to the plot...maybe Josette could have found a secret tunnel that revealed the long-lost family treasure, or she could have met a new friend. However, Ashley Davidson-Fisher certainly accomplished her goal of writing a beautiful French/English book.
