Baltasar was a boy who lived in Palos de la Frontera, Spain in 1492. He lived in a house with his aunt and uncle, Serena and Diego. His parents were Abram and Marina Infant. They were converted Jews from Palos who were killed in Spain because of their religious beliefs. But then, Baltasar gets kidnapped and is asked questions about his life. He is told that his answers are incorrect. Is everything he knew about his family a lie?

Opinion:

Personally, I think that Hammer Of Witches was very good. I enjoyed all of the cliffhangers, love, hope, adventure, and secrets. Although I do not think that Hammer Of Witches should be in the 8-12 year range. I think that it should more like in the 12+ year range. Because there is some dying, blood, and some talk about torture, very little, but some. So if you are not comfortable with that then I do not recommend Hammer Of Witches to you.
