Gang of Sleuths is about fourteen-year-old terminally ill wheelchair-bound boy named Tony Pandy, who is a millionare supported by a mysterious benefactor,   But Tony could lose everything he owns if he does not solve a mystery: how the Hindenburg disaster really happened. With the help of his health aide, Hawes, he goes on an adventure to solve the mystery behind the disaster. This is all while a cast of characters, including the love of his life, Juniper, appears with her boyfriend, Dirk. Tony's life got a whole lot more complicated!

Opinion:

There were strengths and weaknesses in the book. One strength is that the author made some of the characters believable like Juniper. Juniper is a character who can hold her own in a situation even when the unexpected happens. But other characters did not seem to be very believable.  The author could have eliminated Dirk who was unnecessary to the plot of the story. Sometimes while I was reading the book, I could not tell if a character was acting or thinking about acting. I wondered what happened to the characters after the book ended. I would recommend this book for people that want an independent character that is faced with many challenges but can overcome them.

Content Rating:

Content rating - some mature content

Explain your content rating:

Some mature content. The reason is that there are almost swearing in the book and the fact that the book is promoting spending thousands of dollars on dangerous equipment. The book tells the reader how the recreate the Hindenburg Disaster.
