D.G. Driver is the author of the new young adult mermaid novel Cry of the Sea. She also has a story titled "The Jamaican Dragon" in the pirate anthology A Tall Ship, A Sail, and Plunder.  She is a member of SCBWI and The Author's Guild. She used to publish as Donna Getzinger and has 3 award winning biographies about classical composers Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel available from Morgan Reynolds Publishers. She also wrote a book on the tragic story The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, which has earned critical acclaim. In addition to book writing, she writes plays and is an actress.
