Alice Parker is suddenly a genius, acing tests without studying for them. Coincidentally(or not) that is about the time that her back starts aching and giving her pain. One day, a couple weeks later, she faints on her sidewalk right in front of her house. Luckily, her best friend Sarah is there to help her. Sarah drags her inside with the help of Alice's brother. Alice has wings, butterfly wings. Her brother tells her that she is a Finwip. The next day Alice and her brother go to the Finwip society. Alice is given a mission to rescue Theo from Brian Rowbottom’s castle.  Theo is a member of the Finwip society.  Can she rescue him?

Opinion:

I strongly suggest this book because it is an exciting book with lots of twists and turns.  Since this is book one of this series the first little bit of this book has a lot of explaining and no action.  You have to be able to stick through it because the end is super good, exciting and full of adventure.

This story is very well crafted and well written. This book falls into the adventure fantasy type. Again I strongly recommend this book.
