Alice Parker is a lonely girl who one day starts craving fruit, and she has a red and itchy back. Later, she is walking with her friend and faints. When she wakes up she is told that she is part of a community that lives in an underground village and has wings. They all have special talents; they are called Finwips. Then she figures out that her brother and her grandfather are Finwips too. She is told that she has to go on a mission to save an important Finwip.

Opinion:

I think that the book was good but I think that the first half wasn’t very exciting and it didn’t have enough action because nothing was really happening. But then it got more and more exciting and I think that it was very good in the second half. I liked the way the author built up excitement and in the end everything works out. Overall I think it was a pretty good book. I recommend this book to people who are willing to wait for something exciting to happen.
