This fun comic-book picture book documents Ruth Bader Ginsburg's life and accomplishments from her childhood to her time as a Supreme Court Justice. The book discusses why Ruth decided to become a lawyer and fight for women's rights. Her life was filled with examples of creating ripples of change so that other women after her could benefit and create even more changes toward equality. As a Jewish girl from Brooklyn, Ruth certainly knew about discrimination but she didn't let this stop her from educating herself so she could encourage others to join her in creating a more equal world for all, no matter a person's gender, race, or religion.

Opinion:

This book is written for children and is a great way to introduce an inspiring female character that children can emulate. The comic-book illustrations are entertaining throughout the book, and even some of the ways that the author has Ruth say certain things were taken from Ruth's own words throughout her life.
