Molly goes to every store and looks on every shelf, but can’t seem to find a doll that resembles her. This book puts a real life situation into a simple book that even young kids can understand. The book Molly Morningstar A Doll for Me by Andrea Coke is a relatable book that resonates with lots of children around the world. I really enjoyed the pictures and illustrations in the book. The colors were bright, and each picture had a different facial expression. They were simple but had a really important meaning behind them. Andrea Coke wrote Molly as a character who was determined and persevered, even though none of the dolls looked like her. Overall, I would recommend this book to kids ages 5-8 because of the plot and vocabulary.
