Jillian Dangerous and the Peculiar Adventure is about a girl who goes to a brand-new school. Jillian gets bullied by a girl named Maddie, and she has the choice to either do cyberschool or go to Crest International, her mom's alma mater. Jillian picks Crest International. When she arrives, Jillian meets new friends Sadie, Samantha, and Megan. They have a good time together, but then Maddie shows up! Jillian doesn't know how, but Maddie keeps coming back into her life. A storm comes, and Jillian begs her friends to stay out with her. The storm clouds turn purple, and the girls head inside. But something is different.... This is not their room! Why is the room different? Read the book to find out!
Opinion:
I think this is a very good book. There is a lot of fun and suspense, which I like. I also like how the author has created the characters to be very relatable. This book is exactly my level, and I love it! This book has many fun bits, as well as sad and exciting pieces. I also like that the friends are not perfect, as no one is perfect. I reccomend this book for 8- to 12-year-olds who like a bit of adventure.
