Andrea Witt was born in Metairie, Louisiana, but raised in St. Louis and Jefferson Counties, Missouri. She has an MA in Media Communications from Webster University, a BS in Business-Management, and a career history filled with child causes and education. 

She is the mother of two (a 21-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter) and lives 20 minutes south of St. Louis, MO.
