In this book there are 3 children: Ronan, Grota, and Sammy. They must protect the world by defeating Ronan's dad with the help of Ronan's mom and her friends, who have amazing fighting skills and magical abilities. They want to teach the three children everything they know before it is too late. A lot of stress is on the shoulders of the heroes.

Soon Ronan, Grota, and Sammy get to go on their first mission: They travel to a school to take a series of tests. However, the mission is more dangerous than they ever imagined. They face a maze that keeps changing, a girl who knows a little too much about the school and all its hideaways, and mean guard dogs who will attack anyone who comes close to the school's greenhouse. Ronan's father will stop at nothing to get to Ronan and steal more souls. Will his father succeed? Will Ronan, Grota, and Sammy pass the tests? What is inside the greenhouse that is so important? Read The Glass Gauntlet to find out!

Opinion:

When I began reading this book, I did not realize it was the second book to the series. However, I was able to understand the storyline without having read the first book.

It was an amazing read filled with action, evil characters who tried to stop the children from finding the Glass Gauntlet, and good characters who helped and trained the children along the way. Each character was likable and had their very own unique personality. I loved how the children outsmarted the grown-ups throughout the story.
