They want to teach the three children everything they know before it is too late. A lot of stress is on the shoulders of the heroes.

Ronan lives with his mom and is training to be a Blood Guard. Blood Guards are sworn to protect thirty pure souls including his best friend Greta. Ronan is entered in a test with paper and pencils, but it turns out to be a death defying competition and whoever wins gets one thousand dollars and a scholarship. But the Bend Sinister is coming and wants to destroy everyone and everything.
