This book was very detailed about horses’ lives back in 1877. I really liked this, and it made me feel connected to the horse. This story is about what kinds of owners horses had to deal with and how hard it was at times and how happy it was at other times. I didn’t realize how cruel people could be to horses and what the animals had to go through.
